'Absolutely brilliant!'

Katie (Ed's mum)

Rob tutored my son Ed in German during his final GCSE year and he was absolutely brilliant - he really engages his students and is meticulously well prepared with his own resources which really work! Rob is a natural teacher and linguist whose genuine love and enthusiasm for languages shines through. He completely turned round an under confident teenager who had turned off the subject - thank you Rob for really going the extra mile in helping Ed - I can’t thank you enough, he couldn’t have had anyone better!

'Cannot recommend highly enough!'

Ed

Rob is a great tutor. He is very engaging and creates lots of great resources and also taught me some very useful learning strategies. He has helped me increase my grades substantially and I cannot recommend him highly enough!

'Worked wonders'

Darren (Ben's dad)

Ben started having tuition during Year 10 and in hindsight, I really wish we had started earlier! Ben had chosen French but he didn't really enjoy it. Rob built a good relationship with Ben very quickly and showed him how to develop sentences and remember phrases etc. Rob is a really talented teacher who focuses on student progress. Ben says that his resources, videos, and language-learning techniques help him so much. I have seen Ben grow in confidence and enjoyment of French. Neither my wife nor I speak other languages and had felt unable to help Ben. Rob has worked wonders and it's great to see my son not only improve in French but actually enjoy it! I feel that Rob has given Ben opportunities that we were unable to help him with.

'My French is now a million times better!'

Ben

I was worried about taking GCSE French because it wasn't my strongest subject and in a classroom, you don't get much one-to-one time. Then I started working with Rob, he is a lot of fun, and once I started, I really got into it and I love it now that I can actually say stuff in French! Rob is really passionate about teaching and really helps you to think about language. He's actually taught me how to learn in general which is helping me loads in my other subjects too. I feel my French is a million times better and that I can pull phrases out of my head really easily.
