From a very young age, I have always loved the idea of learning languages. It was the mental challenge of learning a new language and the rush I always got when trying to speak it with international friends locally or whilst on holiday that had me hooked!

I graduated from university with a First Class Honours degree in Modern Foreign Languages and Language Learning. Around this time I worked and travelled extensively in Italy, Austria, Switzerland, France, and Spain.

From my experiences both as a student at school learning languages and then as a teacher teaching languages and as Head of Department, it really frustrated me that most Modern Foreign Language classrooms are just not geared up for getting students to SPEAK the language - and surely that's why most people want to learn a language, right?

Having developed my methodology to teach my students how to actually speak a language I was inspired to share my expertise with more students - so I also became a private tutor and language coach. The thing is I could still only work with a limited number of students face-to-face and I wanted to reach out to even more. That's why I created my online courses so that you too, can learn a language and all from the comfort of your own home.
